Role Overview
We’re looking for a Product Manager who brings strong customer insight, structured thinking, and clear decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone earlier in their product career who is great at understanding customer problems, identifying what matters most, and translating that into clear product direction.
You’ll act as the voice of the customer and market inside SalesMail - helping guide what we build, why it matters, and how it drives real outcomes for our clients.
You’ll work closely with the COO and leadership team, who remain actively involved in product strategy.
This role is directly tied to driving NRR and ARR growth by helping us build and enable features that increase adoption, engagement, and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Customer Insight
- Develop a deep understanding of SalesMail’s core markets, customers, buyers, and users
- Regularly engage with customers, prospects, and internal teams to uncover unmet needs
- Synthesize feedback into clear product opportunities
- Track competitors and trends, particularly in AI, video, and trust-based communication
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Help define and evolve SalesMail’s product vision, roadmap, and road mapping process
- Identify high-impact opportunities tied to adoption, retention, and expansion
- Contribute to how AI is used effectively within the platform
- Balance near-term needs with long-term product direction
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering to frame problems and prioritize solutions
- Work with Sales and Client Success to ensure features are easy to explain and adopt
- Support go-to-market efforts with clear positioning and use-cases
- Help facilitate structured product and roadmap discussions
Execution & Product Clarity
- Define success metrics tied to NRR, ARR, and feature adoption
- Write clear problem statements and lightweight requirements
- Validate that shipped features drive real customer and business impact
Product Enablement & Adoption
- Create internal training videos to support feature rollouts
- Maintain and improve the help center (new features, updates, cleanup)
- Ensure product updates are clear, usable, and aligned with real workflows
- Identify and close gaps in internal understanding of the product

- Clear alignment between product priorities and NRR/ARR growth
- High confidence from Sales and Client Success in product value and positioning
- Well-maintained training and documentation that accelerate adoption
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4+ years of experience in product management or similar roles
- Completed product management training or certification
- Strong discovery skills - you’re comfortable performing market interviews and uncovering needs
- Ability to synthesize feedback and identify what actually matters (vs. noise), with a focus on impact to adoption and revenue
- Strong communication skills - you can clearly explain problems, trade-offs, and recommendations
- Comfortable facilitating discussions and helping teams make decisions
Preferred
- Experience in B2B SaaS
- Exposure to AI-powered or data-driven products
- Experience in a growth-stage company
